The package
Eight (8) hours of wedding photography coverage with one (1) photographer. Images are curated by Vowly, fully edited and delivered in high-resolution digital format.
$1,800 + HST ($234), $2,034 in total.
Retainer and payments
- A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the package price, $1,017 including HST, is paid at booking. It confirms your date and is applied to the package price.
- The remaining balance of $1,017 including HST is due seven (7) days before the wedding date and is charged to the card you saved when booking.
- If you book seven (7) days or less before the wedding, the full $2,034 including HST is due at booking.
- Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- More than 90 days before the wedding: the retainer is forfeited, but no further payment is required.
- Between 30 and 90 days before the wedding: you are responsible for 50% of the remaining balance.
- Less than 30 days before the wedding: you are responsible for 100% of the remaining balance.
Your photographer
The photographer named in your contract provides the coverage. If an emergency or unforeseen circumstance prevents them from attending, Vowly may provide a qualified substitute. If neither is available, payments for services not provided are refunded.
On the day
- Please give your photographer reasonable access to the reception, including a vendor table or a designated spot for equipment. Closed doors or distant placement can mean missed moments.
- For extended family portraits or groups your photographer may not recognise, send a detailed list in advance, along with any special requests.
- Guests are welcome to take photos, but not during setups arranged by your Vowly photographer.
Liability and unforeseen events
If Vowly can't provide coverage, payments for undelivered services are refunded, and this is the full extent of Vowly's liability, subject to applicable law. If events beyond our control (such as natural disasters, strikes or government restrictions) prevent coverage, both parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule and payments are credited to the new date.
Usage rights
You give Vowly permission to use photographs from your wedding for promotional purposes, including books, displays and advertising. Delivery of photographs does not transfer copyright.
Governing law
The contract is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
